Research
The ICIP’s research follows a multi-year plan which has five strategic objectives and includes fifteen programs. The ICIP, both individually and in collaboration with other actors, intends to develop programs on peace processes, arms movement, disarmament, decentralized governance, prevention of violence, human security, international humanitarian law, conflict transformation, policies of the past and transitional justice, humanitarian law and peace research. Specialized, permanent observatories will also be instituted.
Grants (predoctoral and postdoctoral), short-term programs, both research and practical, and specific aid programs will also be offered.
