1.1. General results

As regards the average marks obtained for each language, Spanish obtains the highest averages at all three levels, even in the Initial Cycle, where it is not a vehicular language of education.

1.2. Incidence of independent variables

Due to limitations of space, we shall not discuss the results for the IQ and SPS variables here. Besides, in no case did these variables cause significant differences when taken in isolation.
