After localization: the checking phase
In this phase also different situations can be identified, according to whether it is the web manager who checks the localized web site or an outside company. If the localization company is responsible for the checks, it should deliver an error report detailing errors of all kinds which need to be resolved in the localized archives. Some of the data which may be indicated in the error report are:

the exact location of the error,

a description of the error in order to reproduce it,

a description of the operative system and the navigator,

the proposed solution,

the state of processing of the error,

the person to whom the error is assigned,

etc.

Independently of the person in charge of checking (web manager or company), the process is the same. First, the archives are placed in a test web address. The checking has two aspects, which can be carried out simultaneously: the functional aspect and the visual aspect. We see them both in detail below.
