HOME SWEET HOME. THE PROJECT
Home Sweet Home (HSH) addresses the problem of growing aging
population in an older Europe. A situation characterized by a
severe economic crisis, in a society where new requirements are
emerging for health, social inclusion, policy making, access to
public services and lifelong participation. The Consortium approach
to address this challenge is to identify and invest in ICT based
products that support older people living independently at home.
The HSH solution provides an integrated care environment addressing
social and health services that combines, in a simple to use
setting, monitoring, inclusive and domotic tools covering the
essential needs of the elderly.
The project started March 2010 and will last 48 months, 32 of which
will be devoted to validate the HSH solution in well defined and
comprehensive trials. The Consortium comprises 18 public and
private organizations from four countries of the European
Union.
HSH is a project partly funded by the European Commission under the
Competitiveness and Innovation Programme (CIP-PSP).
