This year, exceptionally, the Government celebrates the National Day of 11 September in the city of Zaragoza for the Day in Honour of Catalonia.

The main event was an audiovisual show with the title "Water Sculpture" and is inspired by the relationship between man and nature, with water as central protagonist. This show is sponsored by the company Agbar.

The conception and artistic direction of the event are the work of Hansel Cereza, co-founder of La Fura dels Baus, choreographer of Cirque du Soleil, co-director of the inauguration ceremony of the Barcelona Olympic Games, and director of the Forum 2004 ceremony, among others.
