Events in territorial delegations

Delegations of the Government in Catalonia

Delegations of the Catalan Government in Lleida, Girona, Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre have also organised commemorative events for the National Day in their respective regions.

• Tarragona: As is now a regular occurrence, the Delegation of Tarragona will hold a joint event with a council in its region, which this year will be Falset Council. The event will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday 10 September, at the Teatre l' Artesana in Falset (plaça l'Artesana, s/n).
• Girona: There will be an institutional event at the Girona Archaeology Museum - Sant Pere Galligants Monastery, at 8 p.m. on 10 September. There will be a floral offering at the monument of President Irla at the cemetery of Sant Feliu de Guíxols, at 10 a.m. on 11 September.
• Terres de l'Ebre: The institutional event of commemoration of the National Day of Catalonia in the Terres de l'Ebre will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday 10 September, at the Plaça dels Dolors (at the side of the Government Delegation's offices - Palau Abària, c/Montcada, 23) in Tortosa.
• Lleida: The Delegation of Lleida will hold the traditional floral offering to the Lleidans who defended the liberty of Catalonia, at the Roser building. During the event, which will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday 10 September, the Voyage to Ithaca and Els Segadors (Catalan National Anthem) will be performed.

Madrid

At 12 a.m. on Friday 12 September, a commemorative event for the National Day of Catalonia will take place in Madrid, organised by the Government Delegation in Madrid. President José Montilla will host a reception at the Students' Residence, to which personalities from the capital's political, economic and cultural world have been invited.

París

On 11 September, the Government's delegation in France will organise a reception to celebrate the National Day. At 6 p.m. at this delegation, Joaquim Ferret, Chair of Administrative Law at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, a member of the Generalitat's Legal Advisory Commission and ex-director of the Catalonia School of Public Administration, will give a lecture under the title "Catalonia, national reality and Autonomous Community: its powers". Representatives of French institutions, as well as members of Parisian civil society and the Catalan community resident in Paris, will attend.

Londres

The Government delegation in the United Kingdom will organise a reception jointly with Catalans UK, the Catalan Centre of Scotland and the Anglo-Catalan Society, at 7.30 p.m. on 10 September.

Berlín

The Government's delegation in Germany will hold a reception at 12 p.m. on 12 September, in Hotel Radisson SAS, which will involve the participation of the Berlin Catalan Centre.
