An institutional event is being held on the occasion of the National Day of Catalonia.

• Greetings and welcome speech given by Miquel Castelló, the regional representative of the Generalitat of Catalonia in the Terres de l'Ebre
• Lecture "La nació catalana" (the Catalan Nation) given by Gerard Vergés, a poet and writer of prose from Tortosa of acknowledged prestige. He was awarded the Creu de Sant Jordi (Saint George Cross) in 1997
• A concert will be given by the Music Band of the Senienca Music Ensemble
• Refreshments

Presentation of the event of the National Day of Catalonia given by Raquel Lozano, director of Ràdio Cambrils.
Speeches:

• Welcome speech given by Robert Banaiges, mayor of Cambrils
• Institutional speech to commemorate the National Day of Catalonia, given by Nuria Segú, representative of the Generalitat of Catalonia in Tarragona
• Closing speech for the National Day of Catalonia given by Xavier Sabaté, minister of governance and public administration

After the speeches the Verge del Camí choir will sing Els Segadors. Immediately afterwards there will be Sardanas with the Cobla Reus Jove Orchestra and dances with the Amics de la Sardana (friends of the Sardana) of Cambrils.
